"Folding cockpit table & Lewmar fitting kit"

I have used Howells previously as have a number of my colleagues and have always had a good experience. However based on my recent experience, I would think twice. I ordered a folding cockpit table and lewmar fitting kit - which according to their website was in stock. It then transpired that they were waiting for delivery of the lewmar kit. I had to contact them several times to get un update on the order, was given a date that then passed - still no delivery so phoned them again. In the end waited over 2 months. When it did finally arrive - cockpit table fiddle fell off , so I gad to fix that, Lewmar instructions poor - diagram blurred and did not match the parts provided. I complained to Howells - was told to contact Lewmar - however it was brought throughHowells so contract of sale was with them. They were not interested Service has dropped since being taken over.
